I did not know the format of this book going into it. I don’t like the setup of having different “parts” but I didn’t know till the end that this was originally an ebook series so I can understand the setup now. I had a hard time connecting with the characters from the parts being so short, that would be my biggest complaint. From this book we can learn that power can lead to different things and we need to be careful on who it’s given to. Also that history can repeat itself and we need to pay attention to it. A quote from page 377, “But history is important. It can be a weapon-for both sides.”

Mixed bag on the stories. I’ll admit that I skimmed the final installment and don’t feel like I missed much.
