2.5 stars. The thing with Romance novels is that we generally know that the hero and heroine are going to end up together. So it's necessary for the author to create a story surrounding the romance that makes things interesting. I felt that this author failed to do that. She was definitely just relying on the story's exotic setting to make the book stand out, but it stopped being interesting about halfway through. It wasn't horribly written or boring or anything, but just nothing too special. Good for a quick, relatively generic romance read.
