Love Does Discover a Secretly Incredible Life in an Ordinary World
Reviews

In this moment I want to chase what God has for me that leads to an adventure in an ordinary world. Bob's heart for Jesus and compassion for people jumps off every page as he tells the stories of loving people and living a life of passion in his own anecdotal stories. This is a book that you will not be able to put down and, more importantly, want to go so something about the ideas it creates immediately after you are finished.

Down-to-earth & full of the simplicity that characterizes the real Jesus - the Jesus that is full of kindness, whimsy, and love that just does. Definitely recommend & am thankful I finally got my hands on it - will stick with me for sure.

A great way to live life! Will borrow the trip idea when kids are 10.

If I could give this book 10 stars I would! Inspirational beyond any book I have read before. This guy is a friend of Donald Miller, so if you liked "Blue Like Jazz" this book will be right up your alley.

WOW this book! it made me laugh, cry, smile, frown, and everything in between. i LOVE the way that Bob illustrates seeing God’s fingerprints in your life and his writing style makes the ordinary and “typical” sparkle and shine as it highlights divine intentionality and purpose. such a fun, happy, light read that i know i’ll be returning to!

I think it wouldn't be an understatement to say that this book opened my eyes to bigger faith-related things. I've always tackled the same questions on whether or not ones (Christian) spirituality truly means anything if true exercise of faith and action is really anti-religiosity (not necessarily anti-religion). Essentially, if the true practice of Christianity is love, how then should it be expressed? TL;DR: Yoda has words for what this book pretty much wants you to takeaway from it: 'Do or do not, there is no try'. 😂

Received some amazing books right after my Joy died, several of which I am only now able to read. Just finished this one, & though I know I don’t probably agree theologically with all the people represented or every piece of how they practice their faith—I love the heart of this book. I want to be a person who faithfully does love in Jesus’ name. I want my kids to go live boldly, too💜
