Love for Imperfect Things How to Accept Yourself in a World Striving for Perfection
Reviews

This book made flowers grow inside of me.

I just don’t think this book is for me. I get it why people love this book, perhaps because of the beautiful illustrations, and the “relatable-quotes”. Maybe the writing style is just not my type of tea.

Such an amazing and eye-opening book! I always gift this to my fellow bookworm friends on their birthdays 😂

While there are no groundbreaking ideas presented, I did truly appreciate how soothing and honest the advice was reiterated. A little self-help won't hurt anyone, though I am still working on rewiring my brain to accept the help when I hear it. Additionally, the voice actor did a phenomenal job: he kept my attention the entire time and did not sound preachy.

Lovely meditation on acceptance and understanding. The audiobook is pleasantly read.

The book was not too crowded with words but still got the important messages across. It definitely helped me a lot.

Fr tho, this book is the definition of what a "quarter-life crisis" people needs (not to mention that I've not reach the "quarter-life" age yet😃). I thought it's just for self-improvement just like how to deal with ourselves type of thing, but actually it also talks about how to deal with relationships, family problem, inner child, disappointment, etc. While reading this book, i sometimes got a "sudden realization" of how I feel, what happened to me, or how i think. But tbh, i just understand what I understand (yk what i mean?), since I can't relate to... almost half of the thing that the book is talking about🤦♀️. Ngl, this book could be such a great investment because it actually, somehow, make me reflect on so many different thing that happen to me and i could use the advice that this book gave me in the future😉!

THIS BOOK HELPS ME A LOT to be kinder to myself and not be so hard on myself. too relatable. the book is not too crowded with words, so its actually very easy to read and understand without being overwhelmed by the crowded words.
