Liked the story as a whole. They made a good couple. I am not as forgiving as the main character....

I’m so angry that this book is so terrible bc the premise seemed really interesting >:( I’ve read a lot of unrealistic regency/historical novels but honestly this was just Too Much! I kind of hated every single character! There were no redeeming moments…. I could not finish this travesty…

This book was shocking and exciting!! I don’t want to give anything away- it’s worth a read if you like spicy Lynsay sands books. Clarissa had me laughing, she is far from boring. Also really liked Adrian’s perspective.

Cute and funny. The characters were interesting and well-rounded and I actually felt invested in them. There were some second-hand embarrassment moments but nothing too bad. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters as well as their relationships with other characters.
I liked how the FMC wasn’t afraid to ask questions, and how MMC was respectful. Basically, pretty good communication throughout, even when some secrets were being kept.
The little mystery, while pretty straightforward, gave a little something extra that I enjoyed, and honestly I really liked how it was dealt with and how it wasn’t over-complicated.
I get how it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but overall, I found this book enjoyable and fluffy. Exactly what I needed at the time of reading.

It’s really not bad at all. Very average and just okay. I expected the worst given the really bad reviews. Overall likely forgettable.

I loved this! I was laughing out loud with all things that Clarissa was doing because her step mother wouldn't let her wear her glasses.. and I thought her and Adrian's relationship was super sweet. I did think one person got off a little easy with what they were doing to Clarissa but overall I loved the story and I love Lynday Sands.

Super funny, but you definitely need to suspend belief for most of it. There was a lot of moments I laughed out loud and there was certainly a lot of moments where I was annoyed that Clarrisa and Adrian made a lot of assumptions about how one another perceived each other. I like the miscommunication troupe but this was extreme and it wasn't so much miscommunication as it was unfounded assumptions.

Este livro é tão amorzinho. Adorei!!!!! Planeio ler mais livros da autora!

It seems I had read this almost a decade ago, when I was first getting into romance books. It also seems that I had loved it at that time. This is most definitely no longer the case. This was bad. Lazy writing, weirdly shifting tone and dialogue, repetitive, overly dramatic, thinly plotted, and schlocky. Not my cuppa at all.
