4 stars. buddy read Trigger warning: heavy abuse In this retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Snow is held captive by the evil queen when suddenly she is whisked away. Not by seven dwarves, but by the seven deadly kings. Will she be able to save her kingdom, or run away? This books seems to almost have it all in terms of kinks. It is riddled in sex, and makes me want to take a break from how heavy it's centered on that. I don't know how the author does it, but she is able to describe scenes with 8+ people in it quite easily. The main character can be irrational at times, but overall the plot was very well done.

So the idea and concept here was pretty good. Unfortunately, it became super repetivi and in all honesty this book was maybe 200 pages too long. I think my main issue with RH especially when we have more than three partners for the FMC is that you don’t get a chance to develop an understanding of the men. I think it’s important to give the reader a reason to care for these men and their bond with the FMC beyond it just being fate. It also didn’t help that Snow was very … umm… naive? As a character. Overall, I can’t say I’m disappointed because I figured it would’ve been an okay read regardless.
