It is the summer of 2014. A young woman who has just been abandoned by her partner flees from Barcelona to Madrid with a secret and the conviction that the apocalypse is coming. Four centuries earlier, another woman is forced to emigrate to North America carrying a very different secret. What do these two women have in common?
