Best autobiography I've ever read and I'm not just saying that because I absolutely adore Lucille Ball. I love how she was able to recall all events in her life. Not just her career but how she was raised, how war effected her family, how she felt more at home in different settings. It all felt so real and special. I liked how she wa able to put into perspective the kind of wages she started out with and what she ended up making in the end. You can grasp her independence, her humor, her suffering, her successes so well. The friendships she made along way were lifelong and treasured. I have so much respect for Lucy as she is the kind of female role model that I aspire to be. Strong, fierce, determined, soft, kind, honest, outspoken, humble and always he authentic self. I love Lucy!
