This book was very intriguing and thought provoking. This man spirals into madness with the thought that we are all one, no one, and one hundred thousand different people because every person that ever sees you, perceives you differently than the next. Also, you can never truly see yourself living. You can look in the mirror but while doing that, you suspend living. It was definitely interesting seeing him fall further and further into madness with this simple thought.
It was a little hard to get through due to it being translated and written with words that usually aren't used in literature in this day and age but I'm glad I read it. It definitely makes you think because it is true that you can never truly see yourself as other people see you.

Written by Nobel Laureate Luigi Pirandello over the course of 15 years, One, None, and One Hundred Thousand was a groundbreaking look at the nature of identity and the self.
