           Despite the fact that the synopsis of this book is out of McDaniel's natural element, it was still good. I had hoped that the main character would let go of his "love" for his teacher and finally realize that his best friend, who happens to be female, loves him and that he felt the same about her...but evidently that is not what happened.
The ending was not expected...but it was not necessarily bad, just surprising. Who would have figured that the 15 year old kid who is seduced by his thirty-something-year-old teacher would, in the end, turn around and become, in a way, the predator himself?
