The Boy I Love

Summer 1982 and Sally Thomas has left her job at the British Drama League in London to head north for her very first acting season at the beautiful old theatre in Crewe. Flung into this new, unsettling world, Sally must sink or swim - but soon she finds her feet thanks to new friend, Jeremy. One of the first lessons she learns is that the other actors in this production need no tuition in the art of stage-fighting, since they are quite adept at stabbing each other in teh back ... But when Jeremy falls suddenly and dangerously in love, Sally needs to grow up - fast.
