Kaj'k is an absolute scary looking, adorable, loving sweetheart. The bug-apocalypse was really.... ewwww? Maybe. The writing is descriptive enough to make me imagine the bugs and feel itchy. βοΉβ I liked the storyline and definitely enjoyed the beginning but when the ending was near I couldn't understand what the aim was. I mean, everything went pretty smoothly; Alice did start accepting Kaj'k early in the story, sex was not the goal, a bit of the sweet "funny business" was romantic, Kaj'k is a big softy, Alice seemed pretty great to me except when she sometimes forgot the actual situation (like when she's upset to use the bugs to call out others) and Natalie also got a stable companion. This is definitely a great sci-fi romance with a loving and oh so cute relationship! I loved how caring and understanding Kaj'k was and it was so cuteeee when he said he wanted to learn how to make Alice agree to desicions like Natalie could make her do!
