These new sculptures, reliefs, paintings and etchings contain the explosive energy - uniquely Hambling's own - found in the now famous sculpture Scallop on Aldeburgh beach. The restless movement of the sea continues to obsess the artist and has never been so convincingly realised as in these latest works.
