Beautifully written. I read this book faster than I read the others because I was so captivated by the way it's story. I love Kristin, but in this book my heart was truly stolen by Will Solomon as I watched him fight for the woman he loved. He fought for her, in both the tradition meaning and he fought FOR her. We watched time after time as he stepped in to shoulder some of the burden so that our beloved and exhausted girl could finally lean on someone. The true beauty in this book didn't only lie in the main relationship though. This book was a standout in that it captured an element that the other Poker Clubers do not have - the difficult journey that children face when a parental figure begins dating. We were allowed to first hand witness the different stages of that process as we watch Kristin's siblings adjust to the new norm. This was a book about resilience. Kristins, the kids, and Wills. And it was told beautifully.
