Once again, Maggie Gates has swooped in and stolen my heart with a gasp-worthy love story. Wren and Tatum have an instant and soulful connection that makes you feel it under your skin. Tatum is such a strong lead, who is supportive and kind and genuine - but also very in touch with his own thoughts and feelings in a way that is refreshing to see a in a man. When he says, with gentle kindness and compassion, "Don't disrespect me by making my feelings out to be less than they are" My heart absolutely soars. I applaud a man who can be steadfast supportive of his woman, while also standing his ground. And the spice??? Maggie has a penchant for writing the SPICIEST scenes everywhere EXCEPT in bedrooms, and this book was absolutely no exception.
