As usual, it ended as a total cliffhanger. The fact that it did bugged me a lot. But what could I do? I guess I could look at this is as more of a good thing. I could make a happy ending of my own. But then it wouldn't be as effective as knowing that it really did end with a happy ending which is really far off from just imagining it did.

I'm quite thankful that Ms. Maggie added Cole into this story or otherwise there wouldn't be anything to contrast the doom and gloom and all seriousness that was majority of the characters. Thanks to Cole there was humor in this book. I've been waiting for that aspect to pop up into the series for so long. It arrived too late but thank goodness I was able to wait. 

In this novel, the roles were reversed and it really was painful to read because you could just feel the problems reverberating from its pages. In all honesty, I was beginning to lose hope in the one true paring that was or is Sam and Grace. I was beginning to feel that their relationship was a lost cause. But then I stopped thinking that along the way. I didn't know what resurrected my faith towards those two but I'm really grateful that it did. There were a lot of questions that have yet to be answered but Ms. Maggie must have forgotten because she didn't enclose anything at the nearing end of this book which she was supposed to do. All authors were supposed to do, actually. I also kind of want to know what happened to Cole and Isabel. There should have been a celebratory make out sesh or something. That should have happened. Or maybe it did but Ms. Maggie's making us imagine certain events again. I didn't realize this book was so interactive.

I liked this one from the series the best. There were less cheesy metaphors, and it was more engrossing.

I got this book when I was fourteen and never finished it, so I feel accomplished having finished it finally at twenty-five. It was an enjoyable book, and I really liked the story that it told. It was calm and a lot didn't really happen, but it was good.
