Ok this was pretty cute and I'm so glad I decided to pick it up. I'd been wanting to read a manga like this for a long time, but had never really found a good rec for it. This manga had some of the best tropes, but of course, I love the enemies/lovers direction that I feel this is moving towards. Also, we love a story where the guy falls first and is a huge simp. Just.. chefs kiss. Gonna have to go watch this anime now lol. Also, please don't judge my mood reading. I am all over the place. Went from small town Montana romance to this lmaooo.

YES.

A MUST.

Si Misaki kenapa sih masih malu2 terus.. o^.^o

Going into this manga, I expected it be to a typical shoujo manga were the FL would fall for the popular boy (ML) in school, but I was surprised the demographic was in reversal. I was not surprised to say that I enjoyed the manga. The FL is portrayed as a strong and independent female protagonist whose family is struggling through a financial crisis. She faces the difficult decision on her reputation as school council president being threatened by her secret. Overall it was a fun and enjoyable read and the mangaka is a talented artist.

Maid-Sama is a fun and easy little read about a young girl's determination to succeed in school as well as working hard provide for her family. The storyline and characters are easy to follow and remember. The characters are funny and charming and the character development of the protagonist is very interesting and little dark if you ask me but it is the premise of the entire Manga. As fun and adorable as this manga is it does have some undertones of abandonment, resentment and consent. For some strange reason, I found the lay out of the manga panels in this particular manga made it a little hard for me to read. Sometimes, it felt like they were trying to fit too much onto one page at times.
