Gwen Alexandra does not need a man in her life. Especially not a man who looks like Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello's love child. One wearing leather, riding a Harley, and covered in tattoos. Gwen can bet every pair of her Manolo's that Cade Fletcher is trouble. From the moment she meets him, the attraction sizzles between them. Gwen has a problem when it comes to attractive men in motorcycle clubs. The last one she got involved with almost killed her. After healing physically, Gwen decides to get a new start in a small town, half a country away from the man who nearly cost her her life. She isn't in town five minutes when she runs into Cade, a man that is too sexy and dangerous for his own good. She tries to keep away from him, to ignore the attraction between them. But the biker has other ideas, soon she is in way over her head, and her heart, and her life are in danger once again.

Check out this and my other reviews at My Blog Copy received by author in exchange for an honest review ★Book Basics★ Genre : - Cont Romance Series : - 1st in the series Love triangle? - (view spoiler)[No (hide spoiler)] Cheating? - (view spoiler)[No (hide spoiler)] HEA? - (view spoiler)[Yes (hide spoiler)] Would I read more by this author/or in this series? - Yes Rating - 4 stars ★Review★ I am going to start off by saying, I have read this book 3 times now, the first time I got to about 80% and got a message by the author that it has been revised, finished it and got another message to say it had been pulled from Amazon and was being professionally edited, so I offered to read the edited version and review based on that. And tbh, it was no real hardship reading it 3 times in a short space of time. So please do bear in mind, if you have read some earlier reviews that mention editing etc, it has now been professionally edited. Not to say I did not notice the odd typo here and there, but only as I was being hyper vigilant in looking out for them, and I have certainly seen the same small typo's/editing issues in Trad published books, so this is a huge improvement over the first copy I read. Would I have noticed them if I had picked this up now, and not as a R2R -probably not. As unless it is really obviously bad enough to pull me out of the story, I tend not to notice punctuation/grammar so much. Just not high on my list of things that can bug me in general. The story flowed well for me here. It starts of quite graphic, with an attack on Gwen, by her biker boyfriend, and then we move forward a year and while has recovered physically, she has not mentally and decides she needs fresh start away from what happened to her. And on the first day of her fresh start, she bumps into a sexy biker that she has an attraction to. The last thing she needs. A touch of insta lust, and I do have to agree it does at parts have a very KA feel (although that is not necessarily a bad thing) but I really enjoyed it, loved Gwen and Cade, and it was chock full of secondary characters just crying out for their own book. And as I say, I read this 3 times, and the 2nd and 3rd times, I was hoping for a certain thing to have magically changed and not happen, but ofc it did, and it just devastated me. Now if a book can make me feel like that, it has to be good. I did feel like the last 25% the author had found her own voice a bit more, and the book and characters had more depth to them. Anne Malcolm has the potential to be a truly great author.

I received an ebook of this novel from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Anne Malcom! What a freaking ride this book was! I am officially in love with Anne Malcom. This was the second book I have read written by her, and if these are any indication for the others, I will never be disappointed. Before I talk about the book itself, can I just say that from an Architecture student perspective, Anne Malcom has incredible interior design taste? And not to mention fashion taste? I must go shopping with her. Tangent over. How does one create an amazing book? Good plot, good characters, and meaningful events. That's pretty much my recipe, and Anne supplied ample amounts of each of these ingredients, and then some. The plot was riveting and there was ALWAYS something to look forward to. Something that would nag at you, giving you a gut feeling that something was going to happen. I was never bored as I read this book, because the story just flowed effortlessly. The characters in this story are incredible. Gwen, Cade, Amy, the Sons of Templar are all such devoted characters who show so much love and support for each other, it is truly moving. Gwen and Cade don't have the smoothest of relationships, but their dedication to each other is impressive. This does not however, overshadow Gwen and Amy's friendship, which also has its tiny bumps, but is resilient in every way possible. Lastly, this story deals with many dark subjects and will leave you with a pit in your stomach, however, Anne always keeps it on the light side by providing hope throughout the novel. Okay! This may have been my longest review EVER! So, all this to say, READ THIS OMG WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!
