This story has many popular shoujo tropes, for example; classmates that like each other but end up been step siblings, high schoolers living on the same house, hiding the fact they are living together from school mates. Etc.

That’s is basically the plot of this story, the art is not exceptional as in if I see another story from this Mangaka, most likely I’ll not recognize it. The art style also reminds a little of the classic 90’s style like Marmelade Boy by Wataru Yoshizumi or Good Morning Call by Yue Takasuka, simple and clean lines with big eyes and old school hair styles is crazy to think this story came to life in 2016/2017.

And with that been said I was still interested in the story, and think the reason for this is because you can definitely see the Suzumura (Boy) fighting his feelings and urges when it comes to Murata (Girl), because he understands they are step siblings and has some emocional trauma that prevents him from moving forward.

Nanami Murata is also not so not the type of MC that is crying all the time because her crush rejects her, she’s feisty and keeps her end of the bickering whenever Suzumura is mean to her.

I have the feeling that the Nanami’s mom sort of knows, but we’ll see in the future.

FYI I’ve been reading this at Barnes & Noble and I’m not planning on buying it anytime soon.

I love were this is going! I was surprised of where this story took me. I was to invested on reading Kyouhei’s version of the story. How he feel for her and leaving has siblings was enough for him. 

We also see a side of him that I didn’t expect it and made so much different in the way I perceived the story. He has more depth than Nanami. 

I usually get a little bother with the art, but in the volume the story was so good and heartfelt that I didn’t care.

Can’t wait for the next book!
