It helps that Tamara is steeped in this world through her family. I must admit that I was kinda hoping her brothers and sisters wouldn't make it back - they were odious! Running With the Devil by Mandy M. Roth Patrick & Kerri have been together forever, literally since they were kids. But after they elope to avoid all the drama of his powerful political family, they are ripped apart. Kerri thinks it's because of her magic but there may actually be a larger problem lurking. Fast forward a decade and a half and Patrick is on the run but his biggest problem is how to keep his former wife out of the line of fire from his family's dark past! Patrick and Kerri's 2nd chance at love is lovely. I really enjoyed meeting all of Kerri's quirky friends and Patrick's less sleazy relatives!
