really funny, especially the ways kate would take out each of her potential suitors. i was reluctant to read it at first bc the summary makes it seem like it’ll be a murder romance / romance thriller, but nope! just the classic jennifer crusie — complete with the classic ensemble cast, classic villain, and classic kick ass best friend. (missing the classic goofy pet, though!) jake and kate’s chemistry reminded me of bet me, though the specific circumstances are quite different. the ending was a bit slapdash to me, but i’m obviously still happy as long as they are happy lol. v enjoyable!
