Man's Search for Himself

Catfish greets the other catfish in his bubble. The newest political stance is to shut the fuck up and do nothingism. And so, Catfish goes along with his day: cleaning the gutter from their own shit, hunting for worms, and reaffirming each other's belief that what they're doing is the best. Catfish is reassured that everyone is agreeing with him, and that the god of catfish will do everything to make sure this bubble is safe.

But one day, a shark burst their bubble. He comes uninvited, but he's not here to eat, but to shit. But rest assured! the god of catfish is here to save the day. They capture the shark and hang him in front of the whole catfish. But the damage has already done, the town is wrecked, it's all over the place. And, worst of all, they have seen the truth, and they're anxious.

But amidst the chaos, Catfish finds himself in a state he has never been. He struggles to find the word for it, he seeks for advice from the elders; they said it's fear, or "your heart is corrupt, how could you ask that!" or "Get the fuck outta here, I'm taking a shit!"

But ye, the word is there in the tip of his tongue. Curiosity- nay? Wonder? The point is, Catfish lost something that day, but he regains something else much more valuable.

"It is not security that makes us feel safe, freedom and curiosity, while dreading, it can save us from anxiety."
