A brilliant read. Based in Mumbai, it clearly showcases the differences and the accepted friction between the Dalits and the Brahmins. Following the separate stories of interesting characters, it leads you through their experiences and makes you realize how life is a series of accomplishments and losses. Written amazingly in Joseph's typical sarcastic style, it may not be as enthralling as The Illicit Happiness of Other People, but it is definitely worth a read.
