"From Rusticas:...To have encountered the Discourses of Epictetus". - Greatness recognizes greatness.

My first dive into the stoic philosophical view, my favour quote is: „Man is made for one another so either teach or tolerate”. It was decent a bit repetitive as most of the points he made through the books were the same just using slightly different analogies. Regardless of that I like the points about accepting our place in life, the flow of time, role we have in society and understanding the difference between what we can and can’t control. I do find funny the fact that half of the version I had was the person who translated it writing his own takes on the book as I feel Marcus Aurelius would have detested the thought of the reader reading the notes instead of formulating their own opinions.
