I had hoped for more out of this book. When I first started reading I was a little excited about it. I thought the organization would be excellent. On the surface it seemed to be well-organized; each chapter designated was designated by a year (or series of years). I also loved the illustrations, the old toys and promotional photos. That being said, this book was not nearly as in-depth as I wanted. Also, the year designations ended up being more in name only than actual. This book was more about the scripts and the writers. It avoided many of the distinctions not only between iterations of the Doctors but also the companions, especially the companions. It was good but I wish it had been better.
