It was so cute and oh my goodness Briggs and Olive have my whole heart! The only thing wrong is pacing around some of the major conflict points, the stuff with Conrad happened so fast it felt glossed over, and while I fully believe moving on doesn’t require a reconnection or even forgiveness, they focused on Beau too much for the closure to be just with the dad.

I’ve been looking forward to Briggs’ book since reading Change on The Fly and it did not disappoint. It was the frigging cutest read!

Briggs had my heart within the first few chapters…I mean him coaching a kids hockey team had my heart melting. He was such a softie with his girls. The best scenes were with him and Olive. Ahh I loved him! Briggs, Maddison and Olive just made the cutest little family. 

I also really enjoyed the side characters in this book. The guys were so funny and it was really nice to see Maddison become friends with the girls. 

Now I can’t wait to read Graham’s book!

Another great book by Maren!

I loved Maddison & Brigg's story and their connection. I have a soft spot for characters with a haunted past, so loving Brigg's was easy for me.

Brigg's as a dad... It is unsafe!! I fell so hard for him, especially when he spent time with Olive. I also loved getting to learn a bit more about the other guys in the series. Men and babies really are a dangerous combo.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I always love Maren's books and her heroes. This book is proof that you can't judge a book by it's cover.
