I love me some hockey men! This book was way better than I expected it to be. I’ve heard some mix reviews so I didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised!

2.75 ⭐️ “Wait, is the email...DaddyISONanny@me.com? That's not exactly...professional? Certainly not on an ad that you would expect to see in the newspaper. Weird.” I’m ocassionally a romance reader, so this book is perfect for a quick and light read! It is a single dad trope, age-gap romance story between our two lead characters, Juliet and Liam. I cannot say for sure if it’s insta love, but it was mediocre, to say the least. The plot was also pretty predictable, I got bored when the conflict finally happened. And contrary to what I expected, I really didn’t connect with the characters. Overall, I liked it, but it was extremely cheesy especially towards the end it was unbearable for me.

It felt rushed at parts, but it was short so that’s okay. It was a cute book.

3/5 ⭐ This is the first book that I read from this author and all I can say - I liked it. It wasn't "breathtaking" or something as some other books may be, but still it was good. I surely recommend it if you want to read a simple and sweet lovestory. :)

Siento que tenía más potencial y todo paso super rápido, lo único bueno son las niñas.

if you're looking for a fast-paced single parent and nanny romance, this book is for you. unfortunately, this didn't work for me. it was all very predictable. usually i have no problem with that but this felt like every development (juliet with liam, juliet with the kids) happened behind the scenes. and naturally, the best part of this are the kids' shenanigans.

-----------3.5 star review----------- Points: It made me cry Dual pov My first maren Moore book, I did enjoy it. We have the main man Liam, single dad of two princesses, and ex-nhl player now coach in ice hockey. After giving up the player life, to look after his girls after ex-girlfriend cheated. He protects the girls due to him being in the spotlight. After accepting the coach position he has to hire a nanny due to the travel in the season. After tons of dead ends his friend suggests putting in the ad in the classified ads. Juliet is a sweet and kind soul brought up by manna. Now struggling to pay for her and her nannas bills and with a bad job, it's almost like fate that, she stumbles upon an ad in the Sunday newspaper that says "nanny needed". Liam and juliet try to keep things professional, but with the undeniable connection and chemistry between the two of them, they find it hard to resist each other. Seeing the relationship grow between each other and as a family is so heartwarming. But like any relationship it has its rough patches. Do they have there happily ever after?? (yes they do). It's a love at first sight romance for the both if them.

This was my first book by this author and I will 100% be reading more! The single dad and nanny tropes are some of my faves, so I knew I had to read this. It was such a quick and heartwarming read. I read it in one sitting and I loved every minute of it. If you’re looking for a light, fun and cute read this is definitely for you! I loved Liam, he was an amazing dad who would do anything for his girls. So swoon worthy🥺 The date scene has got to be one of my favourites. I was squealing, it was so cute and funny. I also loved the girls to pieces, they were so adorable and Ari really made me laugh. And I absolutely loved seeing Juliet form relationships with them, they had an immediate bond and she loved them from the beginning. It was so sweet. Liam and Juliet had an instant attraction and the tension between them is 🔥 I can’t wait to read the next book!
