"lovely" is the perfect word for this. The stories reminded me of Belgian chocolates, each their own distinctive taste and best savoured seperately, not all at once.

This is definitely my least favorite Atwood I've read so far. There wasn't much cohesion between the stories for me and even the titular story didn't grab me.
