Really atmospheric and juicy. Read the whole thing in one or two sittings. I just couldn't put it down. Has a real "magical realism" vibe. It's decidedly tragic so if you prefer happier stories it might not be for you. Would warn if you are triggered by reading domestic abuse this might also hit a sore spot. That said the book just wraps you up and pulls you along, it's hypnotic.
