I was pretty excited about this one after enjoying Batwoman: Elegy so much. Ultimately, I was very disappointed. The artwork was great but the story didn't do it for me at all. I didn't enjoy the writing, the story, or the characters. But I loved the art. So there's that.

I mean this trade is ok. I'm not super familiar with Batwoman so I don't have a lot to base it on. The story isn't as compelling as some of the other rebirth series, but it was entertaining enough. The art is gorgeous. And the last storyline introduced was interesting - since it wasn't fully resolved I'll probably pick up the next collection!

Pretty much a recap of everything from Elegy forward. Nice way to introduce the character/refresh the reader on Kate's life. The last page certainly perked my interest.
