I had a feeling this moment would come. This book was so promising from the start, but I figured out the ending about 20 pages in (and yes, I skimmed the last chapter to check if I was right) and I didn't care enough to read the whole book. I found the main character's humor repetitive, and her comments on the people around her a little tone-deaf. I kept telling myself that it was just a first impression and that it would change eventually, but it didn't. Maybe being an NYU student does give you a sense of superiority that forces you to treat everyone else as a walking stereotype, or maybe that's just what the author's like as a person.
