Reader gets to read about Sam and Nick in Fatal Justice. In Fatal Justice, Sam and Nick relationship is definitely all over the media since she is newly lieutenant and Nick is a senator now. It's a new adjustment for Sam and Nick to be in the public eye but it will also be another adjustment for them in their newly relationship. Sam is over the moon when she became an lieutenant in her squad room. She is facing another major high profile case but it will be more challenging since she is solving another murder of Julian Sinclair, whose is close friend with Nick. Nick is definitely devastated when another of his close friend is murder but he is having more hard time dealing with Sam being a cop in the street. I truly feel for Nick but he does need to toughen up if he truly love her and be with her. There is no backie, its neither your in or your not. I know it was hard for Sam when she realize Nick may not be up for it that the reader will get emotional since it was very hard to read Sam emotion. However, those two do realize they are meant for each other that it will take a lot of them to make it do. Marie Force has created an addicting series that you will be reading it in one day! Five Star!

P.S. In the paperback novel, reader will get to read a interview from Sam and Nick newly marry. You definitely love the short yet informative interview.

Fatal Justice is the second book in the Fatal Series. Julian Sinclair, nominee for the Supreme Court is murdered and Sam Holland has been assigned to another high profile case. Nick Cappuano has lost another close friend and begins to wonder if he can handle Sam's job when he believes she has been gunned down during her investigation. Will Nick be able to put aside his fears and maintain their relationship?
There are many suspects in the murder case which is exacerbated by controversial issues such as homosexuality and abortion. Supporting characters including Sam's partner, Freddie, who discovers that he likes sex, and Sam's father, who is in the process of getting married lend interesting subplots to an already detailed story.
This is another good entry in the Fatal series. I'm anxious to read the next book, Fatal Consequences.
