omg this book was so amazing. such a beautiful story of change and true love.

hunter was one of the best mmc of my life. he has so many dimensions and layers and i loved being exposed to more layers as the story went on. oh my goodness, i cannot get over the love he had for his mom. he loved her so so much and just could not handle her passing. although he was a douche at the beginning of the novel, once you get to know him, you love him. it takes a lot for him to love someone but when he does, he really does.

and marley was such a ray of sunshine. this novel truly does hit the mark on grumpy sunshine. hunter did not know he needed her but he totally did. i love how this story allowed both hunter and marley to find themselves within the other. it truly was a self journey for both of the character.

i was reading the last couple of chapters in class and could not stop my eyes from tearing up. perfectly written and will be on my mind for ages. i cannot wait to read the other books marie-france teresa leger has written.

Gave it a full star because the story was still interesting- definitely pokes at deep emotions- however I almost gave it only 0.5 in rating because the actual writing is so bad. This novel is self published (so not edited by a professional) and it shows. There were multiple words that were misspelled or misused, or just plain missing, as well as a ton of grammatical errors. If this is something that you can’t get past, this book is not for you!
