I received this book as a Kindle First Read. 

Abby is a recently divorce Interior designer. Her previous husband was an unfaithful scam artist in a town full of people who believed that she should shoulder some of the blame for their lost money. She is hoping for a smooth divorce and some peace and quiet afterwards. She then gets a surprise and the whole town has something to gossip about. Then Jack Tanner makes an appearance. He is former NFL player and he and Abby have history. It was one more thing that she didn't want to deal with. Abby needs a new job that can help her further her career.
 
I really liked both of the main characters. They have problems of their own and struggle to find balance in their lives. Abby works hard and and hasn't had the best luck with love and life. Tanner has struggles of his own with his father. Abby finds her heart again. 

I gave this a 4 star rating. Other books in the series are stronger but it is still a good read. herself in a position where she needs Jack's help even though she doesn't want him close enough to break
