How to hug baby Cinder, Iko & Peony! My heart cannot take so much ♡ Just a Glitch then~

Beautiful! I wanted to hug baby Cinder and Peony so bad ❤️ Very heartwarming

** spoiler alert ** A prequel for Cinder's story, explaining how she got in Adri's house, and met her two stepsisters, and fixed Iko, and saw Garan getting that disease. I only wished for Marissa to describe how did Cinder got this name of hers, and thank her for making Peony such a cutie character. Wish I could kidnap her and put her inside a bottle of glass and protect her in that space. Marissa, WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME? I HAVE FEELINGS, YA KNOW?

Glitches was really good! It explains a bit of the back story lf Cinder and how she came to be part of Adri's family. It's a really quick little read but I enjoyed it.

(Originally read May 27, 2013)

"Iko was speaking again and Cinder shook her head to clear it. '—can’t stand to see them cry, especially lovely Peony. Nothing makes an android feel more useless than when a human is crying.'" Peony ♥

That was bittersweet

A quick little read to preface Cinder. This short book tells of how Cinder was brought by Garan to his family right after she became a cyborg.

hmmm at first I was so confused. i thought this was a continuation from the first book (i read this at the end of the first book so that's where my confusion came in). but once the story finished i understood that this happened before cinder was sent to live with peony. this was interesting. made me want to know more about the"stepmom" since she doesn't seem to come from a place of hate, more of a place of grief for who she lost and what had to change.

This just killed me a little. Tiny Cinder makes my heart hurt. Also can we TALK about this cover?? Can I have all the books designed like this??

This is the really sad account of how Cinder came to live with the Linh family. Of how the man responsible for this family union is sadly written out of that equation and how her step-mother was always really horrible. It sheds light on how Peony truly was the only family member how accepted her and how Iko came to be Cinders closest friend. It gives a glimpse into the trauma tht comes with becoming a cyborg and also Cinder figuring out how to navigate her new body. A very quick read. A cute little story of Cinder’s childhood. Nice addition to the main narrative.

A heart-wrenching short prequel to Cinder. We get to see the arrival and adjustments of Cinder in her new family. We get to know about her stepfather, how her relationship with Peony and Iko started, and where Adri's hatred is coming from. This just made me love Cinder, Iko and Peony even more. Not really a must-read but if you do love Cinder then go ahead.
