One of those rare theology books that perfectly straddles the line between academic and practical. Jones takes a deep look at a number of different aspect of Christ, ranging from his humanity to the names used for him throughout the Bible to the miracles he performed while on Earth. While each chapter is basically a deep (and often fresh) theological treatise on an aspect of Christ, each chapter also does an excellent job of answering the "So What?" questions that inevitably arise from deep theological study.

BONUS: Most of these chapters are really short, so it's a great daily read even if you're pressed for time
