I read "An Unfinished Life" in 2007 and loved the book. 12 years later reading the sequel was not as enjoyable. I think if I had read it closer together, I would have enjoyed it more. Two things that worked against it - First, it took me a while to get reacquainted with the people - who they were and what their relationships were. Second, having watched the movie "An Unfinished Life" resulted in me picturing Jennifer Lopez and Josh Lucas as Jean and Crane and they just didn't fit. It was a good story and I like Mr. Spragg's writing style.
