Trouble with truffles....plus illegal immigration, French soldiers in Algiers and Vietnam, the Green Party’s impact on business and jobs, and more ... a wonderful sounding recipe for a venison stew, complicated women complicating life for Bruno, and of course a murder! The author manages to be intriguing about subjects unfamiliar to me without being pedantic and keeps the plot moving apace. I’m quite enjoying the series and looking forward to reading the next one.
