Rituals: A Faye Longchamp Mystery is the first book that I have read from Mary Anna Evans. I have to say that the book definitely intrigued me. Although it is the eighth book in the series, it was fairly easy to follow even though I hadn't read any previous installments. The story follows an archeologist, Faye, as she resides in Rosebower working for a museum. One day a horrifying event comes to pass. Tilda, an elderly woman who can speak with the dead, is killed in a house fire. Multiples pieces of evidence suggest that Tilda was been murdered. Faye digs deeper into the case and discovers multiple suspects as she attempts to unravel the murder. Overall, I loved the history of spiritualism that the author placed into the town of Rosebower and it was a great read!
