I want to say this was good because I love Mary Barlogh, but it just wasn’t. It didn’t feel like a beginning and end of a story, it felt like we abruptly entered into the MC’s life and randomly left.
I really appreciate romances that also have a great plot, but this book had just too much going on and when we would move from one setting to another, the previous problems magically disappeared.
I struggled to finish this.
