Mia is not JUST a princess, let's make that clear! For today, she doesn't want to be a princess! She decides to be a lioness, a pirate and other magical creatures! My favourite quote is about the sea-raisin. I have never heard of that saying before, so it was absolutely adorable and put a smile on my face. The pictures are absolutely adorable. They have a soft feel and are very bright and colourful (mostly pink and purple). The book feels very sweet. A theme of being who you want to be is excellent and very cute! It's creative and wondrous, which is exactly what you want a children's picture book to be. Overall, this book is super adorable and definitely a must read for parents and their kids. Kids will love the adorable pictures and fun story while the adults will love the theme! Three out of five stars! I got this book for free via Bookbub!
