Y’all know I love this series but this one didn’t hit for me like the rest of them did. But it was still enjoyable. 

This story follows Hanna and Zach and they absolutely hate each other because of Zach’s father, Colin. Hanna feels forever indebted to Colin because he was there for her family when her father betrayed the mafia and took his own life and left them to pick up the pieces. Zack is out for revenge against Colin for all the hurt and pain he caused him and his brothers through. So this automatically leaves Hanna and Zach on different sides of the fence. 

I enjoyed reading about Zach and Hanna coming to together and discovering the truth behind Colin’s actions and how he made the best decision for everyone involved. This is tension heavy with a far amount of spice. But what took the cake for me is watching Zach breakdown on Colin’s shoulder over how much he tried to hate him all these years but he never could stay mad at his father forever after he found out the truth. That scene broke my whole heart!
