Acts 1 and 2 were very strong, but Act 3 completely dropped the ball. In the acknowledgements I notice the book went through different editors, including a different one to finish the book. I'm wondering if this process botched the book.

For such a seemingly complicated story line it's actually easy to follow along - not once did I get confused when the characters were switching personalities. It deals with some heavy topics like abuse, mental health and so on but still manages to remain comical (some how). 

It's a very unique story that's almost impossible to file into a single genre and doesn't seem to follow any obvious formulas. I'd definitely recommend this and I can't wait to read other books from Mr Ruff.

Wonderful book. Matt Ruff is solidifying himself among my favorite writers. This book is smart, well paced, never doubts where it's going. Also, he never forces anything on the story that feels unnatural. Highly recommend it :)
