This is a bleak, heart-breaking little book. But despite its mere 125 pages, I found it convoluted in places. 

It shouldn’t haven’t taken me a week to finish such a short book, but it was overwhelmingly depressing.

I thought the premise of the book sounded much more interesting than its execution. I was expecting something more ominous and creepy, based off the blurb.

That being said, it’s an interesting examination of grief and how it can seep into every part of your life.
