I know the story is complete as is but I'd love to see if she gets into university in England and how she does. Oliver was such an interesting, enigmatic character.

This still wasn't an AMAZING book but I did like it a bit more than book one which I didn't think would happen. Both of these books were a lot of fun for sure.

Cover *** While I like my plain edition better, the original cover is just, okay. It gets the point across but there's nothing really special about it.

Characters ** Ginny hasn't really changed much but I just didn't love her as much this time. Richard still has my whole heart though. My issue with the characters this time around, and the reason this category scored so low is because of Oliver and Keith. The weird love shape, the fact that fun-loving and loveable Keith became a complete and total asshat that I wanted to push off a roof. And don't even get me started on Oliver.

Plot*** Decent but not the best thing ever. It just felt like it was missing something! The first book was fun and adventurous whereas this one just felt like Maureen had been told 900 times to write a sequel so she wrote out the most basic plot ever. I didn't hate it, but it could have been better.

Pace **** It was the quick, fun, contemporary read with just a liiiiittle bit of heart that I was looking for. 

Writing **** I LIKE Maureen's writing style. I think she's got a good flow and easy, fun readability.

Enjoyment *** My enjoyment was low because of the whole Keith thing. For a large part of the book, I was basically just yelling at Keith to stop being an asshat and it kept taking me out of the read. 

Overall, if you liked the first book you'll probably enjoy this one as well. I like that we finally get the ending we didn't get before.

Honestly, I want a whole adult series on Richard finding someone to fall in love with again and how to deal with the grief of losing Peg and how to manage to move on and loving someone new.

To be perfectly honest, this book just made me mad. 
It was like a competition of who could be the worst human. 
Literally the shining star of the book was Ellis (you're better than Keith, stay away from him!) and Mari's too short appearance at the end.
I was so mad at that awful boy (Oliver) when he was reciting the last letter. THIS IS NOT FOR YOU, THIS IS THE LAST THING SHE HAS OF HER DEAD AUNT AND YOU'RE RUINING IT, YOU BIG TURD. 
Ugh.

           I did enjoy this book, although not as much as the first one. I felt it a little strange when Ginny kissed Oliver at the end, and the complete rotation of opinion of him, even though he did have a good backstory. I really liked Ellis, although I can tell that Ginny's decision to stay in England is certainly going to have an affect on her and she certainly doesn't deserve what's coming for her (I'm assuming that Ginny and Keith will eventually get back together - or just even together - leaving poor Ellis in the rain). It was a satisfying end though, especially the cemetery part with Peg's final resting place.
