It's was a good book, just not to sure what I think about it.

Ok, this book had NO BUSINESS being so good. I was beyond pleasantly surprised--it had all of the things I love, wrapped up in a sexy black ribbon. This book has a lot of dark themes, so please be a smart consumer and make sure to check TWs before you read. Moving right along! Our FMC Aurora is the daughter of a notorious (and now imprisoned) serial killer known as The Demon. She's hoping for a fresh start at college but has the unfortunate luck of running into Stellan, a former flame from her childhood, who happens to be one of 4 so-called kings of the school. His sister disappeared when they were young, and he thinks The Demon had something to do with it. So Aurora becomes the target of Stellan and his friends, Pax, Cain, and Remy. Once they get her living under their roof, the fun really begins. I loved that all of the guys had distinctive quirks and personalities--I felt like I was able to get a good feel for them right off the bat. Aurora has a low tolerance for bullshit, which makes her interactions with the guys really entertaining. And we get a psychotic himbo in Pax, which is my literal favorite character trope ever. Spice-wise, it was hot. Aurora is a virgin (her father kept her under close watch) but makes enough of an impression on Cain for him to eat her out during a house party. And then later use her underwear to...bring himself satisfaction. While she watches. She eventually loses her v-card, and I think it was handled really well. This does end in a cliffhanger, but honestly, it wasn't a bad one at all. Highly recommend!
