For over a year now, I’ve been obsessed with the Bradshaw brothers. First book, Boys of brayshaw high, took me by storm early 2019. It took the place for being my favorite book ever. The slooow burn, the secrets, everything. And when I got to read the second one, jeez, I fell even more in love. When the third book was released, filled with its many many secrets and plots and just the angst... I did not think that Brandy could ever outdone herself. BUT THEN she gives us Captains book. If I thought my heart was strong enough for him, I was wrong. This is apparently the longest book in the Bradshaw series, but to be honest, it felt like the shortest! I want more! I need more. Please give me more! 

I knew I would love captain and his Beauty. No doubt about it, but to be this emotional invested and crazy about them, nah that was not planned. Brandy just always seems to know the exact words to creat the most heartbreaking, heart stabbing, tear filled sentences, and she truly did deliver all of the above with Be My Brayshaw.

The next book in the Brayshaw brother series is for Royce. My sweet baby boy Royce. Never have I ever been so scared and excited for a book. I know my heart will be set up to be broken by him. There is absolutely no doubt about it. He will emotionally break me, my sweet boy. 
The end of captains book gives us a sneak peak into Royce world and based on that, I am certain that we will be in for the craziest ride ever. 

“ it shouldn’t have been so hard to get here, “she whispers, her palms flattening on my chest.” Yea, it should have. We don’t love without a little bloodshed.”

Thank you Meagan for giving me these boys to obsess with, cry with and laugh with. They are worth every stab to the heart. Thank you.

Hands down Captain Brayshaw is my favourite and I wasn’t disappointed in his story.
Frustrated? Yes, but not disappointed.
I love how it reads as a stand-alone, but isn’t.
I love Zoey, and Maybell, and Royce and Raven.
This is a great book, that moves the story along, but also gives you Cap’s heappy ending!

It was okay, I guess? Like there wasn't a wow factor to this and obviously with all the overhype, I was a bit disappointed that this didn't win me over but then again it was unsurprising. Meagan Brandy is an author that's a hit or miss for me.
 
The overdramatic shenanigans the crew found themselves in 'My Brayshaw' was a bit too much for me (seriously how much shit could possibly go wrong with one person?!) and the romance between Captain and Victoria was meh at best though the relationship they had with Zoey was absolutely adorable. She was too darn cute not to like. Speaking of liking, I didn't care for Victoria. I tried. I really did and I'm sure I liked her better in the first three installments of 'Brayshaw High' better and that's probably because she was a minor character. Ouch, I know.
 
Also it probably doesn't hurt to mention that the ending chapters were far more entertaining than everything else I read in this book and despite it being short, my G-Eazy baby Bass two second appearance made my heart pound. Where the fuck is his story?! His book?! He's probably the only character I was looking forward to minus Mike who I won't further elaborate on since it'll spoil the story.
 
So yeah... *chrissy teigen awkward smile gif* It was just okay.

Okay, the way Captain was being such a bitch in the beginning. 
He was not giving off Captain vibes. It's like how did she forget the personality of her own character for a hot second.
I thought it was gonna show more of his journal or whatever but we didn't get a back story of anything.
It wasn't as plot-twisty as the 3rd book.

Okay, fuck Captain. Why tf was he even kissing Mallory.
WHEN MALLORY FUCKING LIED WHAT THE FUCK I WANTED TO BEAT A BITCHES ASS. 
The protectiveness that Maddoc has over Raven is so sweet.
The chapter after the epilogue I was a tad bit confused.
VICTORIA AND ZOEYS RELATIONSHIP IS SO CUTE.
I LOVE ZOEY.

new review; in my opinion these books keep getting worse. captain has always been my favorite brayshaw and for his character to change this much is just sad. where’s my sweet, caring captain? i did finish the book so it wasn’t awful, but i am disappointed in the major character switch. ngl can’t really tell maddocs povs from captains bc their characters are so similarly written in their own books. 

the worst part is that the brayshaw world was one of the first worlds i fell in love with and to see the progression of the series just going downhill is beyond sad.

I love having kids in my reads. Zoey in Be My Brayshaw (Brayshaw #4) by Meagan Brandy was the sweetest.

Victoria love her character. She is patient and put others before her. Strong will and can hold her own.

Captain had serious personal issues and he broke my heart a few times.

Totally fell more in love with Royce. Maddoc and Raven love them so much.
