This is the second book in the Missing 1800 WHERE-R-U series. I did really enjoy this book once it got into the action. It was a slow burner at first for me. 

We meet again Jessica Mastriani a few months after the she was hit by lightning gain the psychic powers of finding missing people. Although Jess and her closest confidants know she has these powers, Jess is still lying to the FBI about losing her powers in Hope's for a normal life. 

Does it work out this way for Jess... not at all. Just when she thinks she will have a normal summer at Camp Wawasee for the musically gifted as a  camp counsellor with her best friend Ruth, Jess soon realises this won't be the summer of hot boys, swimming and music. 

Quickly into the summer Jess has to battle naughty and boisterous pre teen boys, snotty musicians, and pretty crazy musical genius tutors. But this wasn't all Jess had to contend with.
Once the book picked up we get to see her fun humour, the sass, the feisty teen and we are reunited with love interest Rob Wilkins, Agents Johnson and Smith as well as new friends and characters. 

Jesse's adventures wouldn't be complete with a few broken noses, an explosion, missing children and of course a manic killer on the loose in the middle of a forrest. 

So does Jess manage to keep her powers hidden? Who gets seriously injured? Who is Cassandra?  And will Mastriani's daydreams come true and Rob Wilkins reveals his feelings for Jess? 

Jam packed and full of conniving menace. I would expect nothing less!
