Objectively, this book was good - plotwise, it made no sense. Fourth Comings was too convincing in making its case for Marcus and Jessica's demise that this novel seems pointless. There's way too much focus on Marcus and very little expansion on other characters even though we learn so much has happened to them in the timespan between the end of FC and Perfect Fifths (Bridget and Percy, Bethany's divorce and reunion with Jerry, the further devolution of her parents' marriage). This novel ends the series with a conclusion that isn't really much of one; the Jessica Darling series was never completely about Marcus and Jessica's relationship yet it ends being all about them - even though we get no good reason for their reunion aside from nostalgia and a chance encounter.

There was nothing good to say about this book. I'm literally going to pretend it's not even apart of the series. I love this series, it's very dear to me. This book did nothing for me. It took place within a few hours and hours at an airport and is mostly from Marcus' POV. It was NOT the ending that i wanted for this series. also it was a supper short book. again there is nothing about this book made me happy.

I think I'm in the minority here, but I really liked this book. I actually think I liked it more than any since the very first one. Great ending (if it really is the end) of the series.
