AHHHHHH. Finally got my hands on this after so many years of looking through bookstores (thank you, school library for your eclectic collection of books) and it did not disappoint! Highly recommended for anyone that likes intricate and twisted court plots, power-play, very realistic depictions of diplomacy, war, negotiations etc. Also, Turner's use of words allows the reader to read between the lines themselves, allowing us to speculate what goes on behind those closed doors and private conversations (my favorite kind of writing). 

Can't wait for the next two books!
